相信很多军迷朋友们一定知道，美国士兵是全志愿兵役制。也就是说，他们在征兵的时候需要根据公民个人意愿，年满8周岁就可以去当兵。服役时间一般都在2—6年之间。如果你愿意继续当，那就可以继续签合同，然后转为士兵。
但这里需要强调的是，士官并不等于军官，而且士官也不可能转为军官。如果想要成为一名军官，首先要符合的一个条件就是必须是毕业于专业的军校。
美国我们知道是世界第一大国。但这个国家最大的特点就是不安分，所以这里的民众反战心理十分强。真正愿意当兵的人少之又少，甚至还会面临无兵可征的尴尬局面。其中就包括提高待遇，不过美国当兵的福利待遇的确很好。而且他们还有一个更加诱人的政策，那就是只要参军就可以获得美国国籍，这也吸引了很多其他国家的人积极参与到其中。

不过这也不是谁都可以胜任，也有很多条件的限制。首先要保证自己在交流上没有障碍，其次就是身体状况等各方面因素。所以很多人为了高薪，而且也为了能够获得绿卡，义无反顾的选择了参军。
